(Along the lines of ‘unlikely friendship’ idea)

Two Girls who are living in the same area and going to the same school both have troubled siblings and meet in an unexpected way. One is popular and one is unpopular.

The unpopular girls Sister is her guardian and has OCD, and she moves something in her room (i.e perfume or a book)

Her sister notices that something is out of place and in a rage pushes her hard and injures her head on something -she goes to hospital/ doctors’ surgery/ school nurse who gives her name of support group on how to help with caring her troubled family member.

She goes to support group, meets the popular girl from school, who she forms a friendship with, her brother has aspergus.

They secretly bond over their family issues and are sworn to secrecy – no one at school is to know about their problems. They share with each other the difficulties for looking after their siblings.

When they start speaking more in school, the popular girl is judged and to keep her reputation she tells her friends about the girls’ sister having OCD and being ‘crazy’

When the girl finds out – through facebook? She feels really humiliated and betrayed.

That day when she goes home she finds her sister scrubbing the house frantically and her hands are bleeding from it.

She doesn’t go to school for a few days. In seeing her absence the popular girl assumes that it’s because of her rumours and feels really bad, she goes to her house to apologise only to find that her sister has been sectioned and she is struggling with social services as she is not old enough to be alone.

Feeling even worse than before even though this is not her fault, the popular girl offers for her to stay with her while things blow over.
