A Digipak is a type of CD packaging made out of card or other heavy paper material for the outer binding of a CD Case. Digipaks flip open like a book and usually consist of four sections, the front cover, the back cover, the CD Tray, and the remaining section which is usually used for Album artwork. Digipaks are a pricier alternative to standard jewel cases (above right) despite the fact that they are more easily broken than Jewel cases. An example of a Digipak (Sams Town by the Killers) can be seen to the left.
